These plaid clam diggers could be home made. The hem stitching is visible, which is not normal. No tags. Side metal zipper, with a navy button. The waist was let out on the right hand side, but the waist band looks unaltered, so I think the seam was let out before the waist band was attached. fabric is a light-medium weight cotton. ...NOT the heavier sail cloth often used by manufacturers for this style of garment. No rips, fade, stains, or spots. Great for a summer party or a trip to the local bar. Go by measurements.
