by the 79s all my friends were collecting 40's dinnerware...mostly Fiesta and LuRay, but I really preferred the EARLY CALIFORNIA colors, and as it was not as popular, I had a better chance of finding it here and there. Eventually, I gave it up, as I never had a full set, and fully succumbed to Fransciscan STARBURST when I found a whole set! I found this pink platter about 5 years ago, and bought it for old times sake, as it is in perfect condition. Now it needs a good home. I see other platters on Etsy, but no pink ones. Some are cheaper, but because I double box breakables, and postage is included, I have to charge at least $50. Well worth it, considering the mint condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing.
