This vintage blue robe by is made of cotton with a geometric print that. Nice wide / long sleeves, crossover style front with a tie belt. Truly stunning and perfect for lounging around the house or going to your favorite Japanese spring festival. This piece came from the estate of the VP of Polaroid in the 1970s. He took a trip overseas to Japan, and this was likely the robe that was provided at the ryokan or hotel where he stayed. I had to do a lot of soaking on this robe to get it freshened up, but there are still some stains, like the one shown on the front (which can be hidden by wrapping that side first) and a few other little marks. Shorten this robe by folding at the waist before tying the belt. Shown on a 5'4 woman. Sizing works for both men and women. One size fits most.
