Add a 1920's party girl twist to any special outfit with this exceptional, near mint beaded evening bag...

This fabulous bag is in rare, very usable condition! The lining or base of this bag is a puce purple-grey color acetate weave fabric (acetate is a natural fiber that has been synthesized with chemicals, to give it desirable qualities of fabric; sheen, strength, versatility, etc.). Had this bag been made with a silk base foundation, it would most likely be in no where as good of condition. Shell of bag is 'armored' almost with a bright cobalt blue seed bead and clear glass bead diamond pattern -this hangs loose around the exterior of bag and then is woven together near the bottom, then looped to make the twisted fringes. These twisted, looped fringes are exactly half clear beads and half cobalt beads (note: the mix of lighter seed beads, with some heavier glass beads gives the bag a nice, light weight to it -compared to other fully beaded bags). Now for my favorite part! The 'handles' of this lovely purse are made of a lustrous, ebony black silk cord twist, which is finished with an ovoid shape mound, covered in a coil of silver-clear glass beads, all tipped with super shiny copper & oily dark blue-purple looped fringe tassels...drool. Inside lining of bag IS silk, a very sturdy grey woven silk without issues. No labels or maker's marks, bag was clearly hand-made with expertise. Overall condition is unbelievably near mint!!
