This ring is really unusual and so beautiful; I've never seen one quite like it. The amethyst itself is so gorgeous, in the ideal shade of purple, and the oblong cabochon cut really emphasizes its quality. The 14k gold setting is so unique: the stone itself is set off-kilter, and the shank has a square-shaped exterior (interior is round, as a typical ring). It has a pebble-finished texture on the head of the ring, as well as the under-side. It is not signed, and is likely a custom-made piece, meaning it is completely one-of-a-kind.
