Edwardian 1903 Charles Dickens Pickwick Flow Blue Plate

Beautiful antique Ridgways England flow blue plate, circa 1903. This plate commemorates a scene from "The Pickwick Papers", which was published in 1837 and made Charles Dickens a literary sensation. This scene is entitled "Mr. Pickwick Assists Mr. Winkle", and is encircled by a wide rose floral border. The plate has a scalloped and embossed rim, and measures 10" in diameter. Marked on the back with the title of the scene and "Pickwick by Chas Dickens 1837 - Original Illustrations by R Seymour & Phiz - Ridgways England - Rd No 419438". Based on my research, this registration number dates the plate to 1903. This plate is in excellent condition; there are no chips or cracks. There is light crazing on the back of the plate, and a few utensil marks from use on the front. The only thing I noticed is that there is a blueish tint to the back of the plates, along with some small blue marks. My best guess is that this part of the flow blue manufacturing process, although I can't say for sure.
