Very nice Victorian skirt in a black wool with silk ribbon trim in three stripes above the bottom. It has a nice flare and would be very flattering. The waist is quite small as a corset would have been worn. There is a pleat in the back to accommodate a bustle. There is no closure on the waistband but would be pinned in back. It's in remarkably good condition. There is one frayed area on the waistband as shown. It is unlined. No maker's labels.
