Original 1970's Halston velvet kaftan dress. The dress is set in a rich, dark, red crushed velvet material. The dress is completely unlined. In Classic Halston style, it is a open, kaftan silhouette. The dress has a center front hem slit that opens the hem for more movement and flow. The sleeves are a full, long sleeve style with a gathered sleeve hem. The center front line is adorned with a simple v-neck with a single hook closure at the top of the neck if you prefer to close the neckline. The Dress is accompanied by side seam slit pockets for a more relaxed, comfortable style and feel. The dress is in amazing vintage condition, however because of age and delicacy of material there are normal signs of wear. The sleeve hem gathering is coming undone a little, and the v-neck and hem slit corners are a little worn. Besides those minor defects the dress is in amazing condition!
