Via Bo by Roby Sasson
70’s Blue and Mustard Trench Coat

Label: Via Bo by Roby Sasson. Made in France exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman. Oversized patch pockets in front. Also, pockets on the inside. Closes with self-fabric belt (one side is blue, the other mustard) and two hook and eye closures. No buttons. Hooded.

Excellent vintage condition. Only a couple of minor flaws. Two spots inside the hood, one very faint smudge on the pocket, and a bit of wear on the buckle. See photos

According to Roby Sasson himself, the Via Bo designer from 1976 to 1993, the young and avant-garde clothing line was known for its good quality materials and New Wave designs. Lots of Pop Rock and New Wave bands from the 80s and the 90s wore clothing from the Via Bo collections. Via Bo's flagship store in the Halles district of Paris opened in 1976, the beginning of the New Wave, and of Punk. The brand was strongly inspired by musical movements and the garments were in bright and cheerful colors.
