60’s Chloé Navy Beaded Chiffon Peplum Palazzo Jumpsuit

A vision of carefree elegance, the true vision of Chloé creator Gaby Aghion. This jumpsuit exudes bohemian chic with silk palazzo pants that glide over the skin just as intended to give tension between masculine and feminine, which fully communicates the Chloé attitude. The pant shows the masculine side, paired with the empire waist, unique floral sequins, and sheer chiffon give it femininity. The best of both worlds!

60's Chloe, I think about 1967-68ish, may be a one of a kind or couture piece based on the handwritten label similar to other examples in museums and the history I've traced. The writing is faded, but all I can make out is the word Favorite at the bottom. The only history I know for sure I can pass on to you is that this piece was made completely by hand custom for a woman named RoZ during one of her trips to France. She assisted with the design asking for specific details like the sequins and waist placement to be to her liking. I'm not sure if there was ever another piece just like it since RoZ was such a visionary and outgoing fashionista. She adored designer fashions and I believe held dear the vision of the brand since she acquired garments that communicate the most iconic values of the designers she loved. This Chloé is no exception. When I read of what defines a Chloé garment...this is what I envision.

¼” discoloration at back of hem, tiny discolorations at front, mild pit wear, still presents beautifully and is iconic for any collector.
