The watch fob style chain measures 34 inches and holds a 2.25 inch long, .5 inch wide, hollow filigree pendant. The .5 inch links have a great, diamond relief detail to them. It has a nice weight to it and not heavy. The multiple layers of silvertone plating is still in excellent condition.

This metal necklace is circa 1965 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
