60’s Minidress Floral Stripe Ruffles Trim$70.00
This ruffle-trimmed, late 1960s mini dress has a dreamy, romantic style, in a feminine, striped floral print in shades of black, tan, copper, and hydrangea pink. The high, ruffled collar frames the face, and a rectangular bib on the front bodice is also edged in ruffles, above the dropped waist seam. The flouncy miniskirt is gathered at the dropped waist/hip seam. Above the gathered cuffs, the semi-sheer sleeves have a narrow band of elastic (which has lost most of its stretch, easy to replace, or wear as it is). The dress fastens with a metal zipper in back. The crisp, lightweight, cotton and polyester blend, floral print fabric is lined with beige muslin-type fabric--except at the sleeves and collar ruffle, which are semi-sheer, and unlined. This darling 1960s mini-dress is deadstock vintage, but we would describe it as in very good condition, because of the loose sleeve cuff elastic. Otherwise, it is in mint condition, unworn.
