Vintage Talbots sweater from when they only had their single Hingham, MA store. This cardigan has some issues, but still a great little knit sweater with some classic academia / menswear styling. Crew neckline, with metal crest buttons down the front and a solid fishermans knit. Simple, classic style. Made of soft pure wool. This was purchased from a local estate.

Bust measures 36" unstretched, length 21". There is some green discoloration where the buttons have patinaed against the wool, and some faint discoloration on the shoulder as well. Due to the fragile nature of vintage wool I have NOT tried to soak this, so it may all come out with some cleaning.
