Lorrie Deb of San Francisco
50s/60s Powder Blue Prom Formal Party Dress

Beautiful 1950's or early 1960's party dress by Lorrie Deb San Francisco. A lovely choice for a prom, cocktail party, or photoshoot! Pair it with a veiled pillbox hat, some gloves and matching heels, and you will be the talk of the town!

Features:
✦ Gorgeous fit and flare silhouette
✦ Shelf bust with lace overlay
✦ Scalloped neckline
✦ Back skirt panel
✦ Back nylon Talon zipper close with hooks/eyes
✦ Tulle underskirt
✦ Union label
✦ Pleated front skirt

No label indicating fabric content, but it feels like a taffeta - it has that crisp feel, and is very shiny.
Label indicates size 7, but please note this is a vintage size 7 - and this dress is very small, so please note measurements carefully. There is NO stretch to this dress.

She is in good to very good vintage condition. I could find no major holes, tears or stains. The only issues I found are some surface dirt, and some small holes and snags. There is one snag/scrape at the bottom of the skirt that measures about an inch in length - that is the biggest flaw I found.
This dress is about 60 years old, and considering the flaws are more cosmetic, I would say she has held up well. The integrity of the dress is not affected by the flaws, she is very much wearable! It is worth pointing out that I did NOT have the garment laundered. It is possible the dirty areas will come clean.

Measurements taken lying flat:
Bust: 32" (possibly a snug 34" with a smaller cup size)
Waist: 22" (NO stretch)
Hips: up to 40"
Length: 36"
