This circa late 1950s dress is a classic LBD in pintucked black nylon with black satin trim, including a cute, bow-trimmed belt! The sleeveless bodice has a high, round neckline. Bust darts, a fitted waist and a narrow skirt give this late 50s or early 60s day to cocktail dress the hourglass shape typical of mid-century dresses. The dress is lined with black acetate taffeta and fastens in back with a metal zipper. Next to the zipper in back, there is one tiny mend in the nylon fabric (see close-up photo). The dress is in very good condition with no other issues, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Layer it with a cardigan or cropped jacket and wear it to work; add some rhinestone jewelry and it's perfect for an evening out!
