Made by Rafaella, this never worn pastel pink washed silk set included a tunic length button front top and long pants with an elastic waist that also has a front tie. Original paper hang tags are still attached to each piece. A subtle soft pink embroidery floral trim accents the front of the blouse. You will be the first to wear this versatile set, which as you can see, looks equally wonderful worn fully buttoned or with the top open front over a tank top or blouse.

Described as "washed silk" this delightfully soft fabric is "100% silk which has a special finish to give it a soft and powdery appearance, the variations in color shading and slight creases are characteristic of this technique. The special finish enhances it's beauty and in not to be considered a defect. This 100% silk garment is COMPLETELY WASHABLE."

Inside the paper hang tag there is a further description of this company. "Rafaella and quality have always been synonymous. It is from the late 1980's or early 1990's, so naturally there are shoulder pads, which you can easily remove if you prefer a more natural shoulder line.

Neither of these pieces is lined, which keeps them relatively lightweight, perfect for you to wear in any season of the year.

An extra button is included as part of the original paper tags.

The cuffs of the top have a button that adds a tiny pleat there when it is buttoned.

At the waist band of the pants there is hidden inside elastic and a front tie that is functional. With that elastic, no zipper is required.

Two hidden side pockets are in the seams of the legs of these pants.

This jacket can be worn fully buttoned by or it can also be worn partially buttoned or completely unbuttoned. In these photos it is shown fully buttoned and fully open over a tank top.

As you can see in the photos, there are 7 inch side slits on each side of the top so it will fit nicely over your hips.

It is in Mint Vintage condition and has been stored since it was purchased. There are no stains, holes, odors, or unraveling anywhere.
