Wonderful, unusual vintage handkerchief embroidered with the image of George and Martha Washington. Her gown has layers of lace in the center of the skirt - love it! The detail of the costumes is great! Colors are vibrant, There is a tatted edge around the the hanky and ruffled, scalloped lace. The fabric is a sheer batiste. It's in good condition, but there are 3 small holes in the pink fabric - pictured. The hanky measures 12" high, 9. 5" wide at the bottom.
