Gorgeous elastic satin pinup swimsuit by Cole of California from probably the early 50s. So totally reminds me of that photo of Marilyn Monroe in the white swimsuit frolicking on the beach! Features fully adjustable straps and center back zipper with snap. Bust is pleated and also lined with a cotton bra and the front of the suit is like a skirt with shorts underneath. Strap is adjustable by a large metal slide and button and they can totally detach from the back as on the back it is only attached by a loop.

Labeled a size 14 but please refer to measurements! This comes from my personal collection. I wore this at 38-28-42 and at 41-30-42 and it looked great at both sizes. The fabric is totally elastic but the cotton components inside are not.

In good condition but could definitely use some love. There are some holes in the gusset. Snags and rubbing throughout the fabric and has a few light marks. There are some popped stitches along the edges. It's overall wearable and freshly cleaned. A great wearable addition to a vintage swim collection :)
