40’s/50’s Baar and Beards Faux Pearl Beaded Collar

1940’s/1950’s Baar & Beard's, Inc. a Top Hit Fashion made in Japan, hand made satin beaded collar necklace in beige, off-white, silver & white.

This beautiful faux collar is meant to be worn with the point at the front for a v neck shirt, but I think it looks unique worn backwards with a lower cut back. It is meant to be attached to the collar of a shirt using safety pins. The edges is a scalloped pattern of faux pearl beads and silver beads for contrast.

I did not notice any loose beads, but I'm sure they could probably use reinforcing. It has been very well taken care of.

This neutral collar would look really pretty with a bright holiday shirt or sweater or add a little shine to a plain white shirt.
