Hat measures 9. 5" in diameter front to back 7. 75" side to side, and width of inner opening is 6. 5" from side to side and 7" from front to back . Height of crown is 4". Fabric is wool felt with feather plumes and grosgrain ribbon rosette. Label reads "Maym Brown original". Excellent condition with no damage. True color is black.

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
