This tee shirt is an official item of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. This was also the year of the "Miracle on Ice" as the underdog US Men's Hockey team defeated the Russian Men's hockey team to win Gold for the first time ever. The shirt is a light yellow color, made even lighter as it been worn thin and soft. There are several small holes and runs in a few spots that add character and showcase it's age. There is a small ink stain on the logo and the there are small portion in both sleeve cuff that have lost thread. Perfectly thrashed and worn as some would say, which makes this piece.. dare I say...worth it's weight in gold?
