How do Costume Designer partnerships work?

Stylists and Costume Designers come to Thrilling to help them source clothes and accessories for their upcoming film, TV or print projects. They have the option to rent or purchase items. For rental items selected, you will receive a 20% rental fee of the item's retail value. If the piece works for the project the stylist will then purchase it and you’ll get paid for the balance of the retail price, less our fee.

When a client signs up they are required to sign a contract agreeing to our terms as well as leave a credit card on file. Any issues regarding damages, late returns, etc. will be charged to this card.

What is your policy for rentals?

If a stylist selects your piece, you are paid 20% of the listed retail price, you will see this in the following week's payout. The CD/Stylist can have your piece for up to 1 month for the rental price. If they decide to keep the item or they need it for longer than 1 month, we will charge their card for the difference and you will be paid for the balance in the next week's pay out. 

How are rental returns handled?

Studio Service rentals are returned to our team where we will do a full quality check before returning to you. We will notify you as soon as the items are received and will send you the tracking number when they are on their way back to you. If there are any damages, the stylist will be charged full price.

How much do I get paid for a Studio Services purchase? 

If a CD/Stylist selects your piece to purchase, you are paid the full price for a purchase, minus the Thrilling commission (10%). These items are considered final sale. 

If a piece is rented then purchased you are paid the remaining amount left minus the rental charge. 

How is shipping handled?

All shipping labels will be sent from sourcing@shopthrilling.com so please make sure to add this email address to your contacts so it doesn’t go to spam. The partner covers all shipping costs and you will just be provided with a pre-paid shipping label. The majority of packages will be shipped with FedEx or USPS.
